CuppaWEB Logo CuppaWEB v2.0 is nearing completion. It has many new enterprise-level features including a separate working area where content can be created/edited without interfering with the live site. It includes a user-defined publishing schedule that allows Content Authors to plan timely releases and features wizards and templates that allow for quick and easy authoring. The new Dashboard (Administration interface) features WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) document editing.

CuppaWEB Logo At CuppaIT we have been feverishly working on CuppaWEB, this work will soon pay off, with many new features and new functionality which will be of benefit to all users.

Also we have been discussing the possibility of making CuppaWEB Open source for everyone, although CuppaWEB was already open source for all customers we have not given the source to the community, we believe that this will be of great benefit. We are going to hold a public vote on this issue within the next couple of weeks so keep on checking back for a link to cast your vote!

19/11/2005 CuppaWEB Glassfish Approved!

CuppaWEB rated in the top 5% of Java applications. CuppaWEB has been fully tried and tested running on the Glassfish Application server, GlassFish is the name for the open source development project for building a Java EE 5 application server. It is based on the source code for Sun Java System Application Server PE 9 donated by Sun Microsystems and TopLink persistence code donated by Oracle. This project provides a structured process for developing a high quality application server that makes new features available faster than ever before. It is the response to Java developers who want access to the source code and the ability to contribute to the development of Sun's next generation application server which is based on GlassFish.

CuppaIT will be shortly transferring all CuppaWEB hosting operations to the Glassfish Application Server, this will greatly improve the speed and stability of our CuppaWEB hosting services.

16/10/2005 W3C Compliance

We at CuppaIT have been striving for a while to make CuppaWEB W3C complaint, it finally is! CuppaWEB Pages are now valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional. This means that the pages in question identify themselves as "XHTML 1.0 Transitional" and that they successfully perform a formal validation using an SGML or XML Parser (depending on the markup language used).

You may use the link in the menu on the left to check this.
